WHAT IS BANATAN?
Banatan is a PTK Community located in South Florida. The word Banatan is from the Filipino dialect Hiligaynon (Ilonggo). Translated it means “in fight we keep going no surrender”, and it is the name given to our group by Tuhon Rommel Tortal. PTK is short for Pekiti Tirsia Kali, a blade-oriented Filipino combat art.

QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS
Chris Nott is the Lead Instructor for Banatan PTK. He has been training and teaching martial arts for over 30 years in many different styles & systems, Jun Fan gung fu, Boxing, Inosanto Kali, JKD Concepts, Hagannah, and Filipino Martial Arts. I currently hold the rank of Lakan Guro under the Pekiti Tirsia Kali World Federation. As a teacher, my passion is helping students to develop their skills so they can realize their full potential.
